Linked Employer-Employee Data (LEED) Workshop
We were delighted to announce the 8th edition of the Linked Employer-Employee Data (LEED) Workshop hosted for the first time by Copenhagen Business School on
24-25 June 2024
Over the years, a growing number of scholars across academic fields diciplines have used LEED to conduct studies that make meaningful contributions to theory, policy, and business practice. The availability of LEED in multiple countries creates unique opportunities for “moving the needle” with our research. This workshop offers a unique and valuable forum for discussion on the role of LEED in advancing theory, improving business practice, and informing policymakers.
The LEED Workshop brings together a community of researchers who utilise linked employer-employee data to understand and address a wide range of challenges. These challenges may involve individuals, organisations, industries, regions, and even entire economies at large. Examples of challenges that can benefit from LEED-based research include – but are not limited to – inequality, forced migration, crime, the “green transformation” of firms and jobs, the impact of technological change on careers, and the interplay between employees’ mental health and organisational contexts.
The 8th edition of the LEED Workshop featured Keynotes presentations by:
- Andrew Goodman-Bacon, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis
- Olav Sorenson, UCLA (Anderson Graduate School of Management)
- Anna Piil Damm, Aarhus University

Female/Immigrant Entrepreneurship Workshop
In June 2024, we hosted the Female/Immigrant Entrepreneurship
Workshop @ Copenhagen Business School
26 June 2024
The CBS Inclusive Entrepreneurship Workshop was a small-scale event that brought together researchers from various diciplines working on questions related to female and/or immigrant entrepreneurship. The workshop offered excellent opportunities for research discussions and interactions inside and outside of the seminar room. We welcomed submissions on female and/or immigrant entrepreneurship using a variety of data sources and methodological approaches.
The workshop took place on 26 June, 2024 and it was scheduled back-to-back with the 8th-LEED workshop held on 24-25 June, 2024 also at CBS.
Attendees were invited to attend the conference by the workshop hosts, José Mata and Vera Rocha. The workshop attracted significant interest and was well attended by both academics and practitioners from Denmark, other Scandinavian countries, and across Europe.
The afternoon featured a panel discussion on entrepreneurship from a practitioner’s perspective. The members of the panel members included:
- Ana Andonovska – Even Founders
- Thomas Michael Klintefelt -Confederation of Danish Industry (DI)
- Alexandra Nguyen – Export & Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO)
